Vladimir Vaskin is a Russian photographer (1957, Moscow). He is well-known for his use of alternative photo-techniques. He works with large format cameras and wet collodion glassplates of 40x50 or 70x90 cm, and also uses old print-techniques. He takes pictures of old architecture in remote areas of Russia, portraits, still lifes, landscapes. The photo's that he presents here are made in Archangelsk in the North-West of the Russian Federation.
